Charting top semiconductor companies

“Vibecoding” in Pinescript can create novel data visualizations for global financial markets. For example, Grok was able to produce (after a lot of human-generated prodding) a decent script for showing the world’s largest companies by market cap.

A downfall (that may yet be solved) for AI today, however, is it requires constant debugging. Without foundational knowledge and discernment, critical factual errors may underlie the otherwise impressive outputs. (This theory can also apply to humanity itself).

It also objectively sucks at writing, yet excels at many technical areas.

Will carbon-based life eventually be superseded?

Trillions of dollars bank on it in the equity markets.

Grok, GPT, etc. cannot yet debug autonomously, but may one day soon. At first it took many tries to vibe code even minor PineScript alternations. It actually took DeepSeek to do it correctly (for me personally).

Meanwhile, $NVDA is in close competition with $AAPL as the world’s most valuable company. (That is, excluding Saudi Aramco which doesn’t natively trade on major stock exchanges like NASDAQ or NYSE). Nor does it directly compete with tech, but if artificial intelligence lives up to the promise…

The world’s going to need significantly more energy (and/or semiconductor efficiency). U.S. companies also are competing to invest domestically against global competition. Tech valuations can be affected by Chinese innovations as evidenced by this year’s so-called “DeepSeek panic” which catalyzed trillion-dollar whipsaws.

The leading and discerning human will continue to flourish. Yet increasingly augmented with true cyborg-like AI advancements in decades upcoming. Will NVIDIA continue to dominate the top ten company charts? Or will AAPL and other potential upstarts regain the advantage?
