What is the identity of the Ark of the Covenant? The primary source in the Book of Exodus makes it clear:

“You shall make an altar for bringing incense up in smoke; you shall make it out of acacia wood… and overlay them with gold.”

Acacia is abundant across the ancient Cradle of Civilization and Mount Sinai — where Moses saw divine hallucinations in the burning bush.

Acacia’s psychoactive secret was likely liberated from ancient Egypt. Its expansive species contains a broad spectrum of psychoactive alkaloids. In particular, Acacia is well-documented source of mind-expanding DMT.

The ancient Egyptian Book of the Dead closely parallels Biblical accounts:

“Osiris is lord of the Acacia Tree
I have betaken myself to the Acacia tree of the divine children
I have made the offerings of incense…”
