The CIA’s MKULTRA, Project Stargate, and Silicon Valley’s psychic innovation

One of Tom Delonge’s associates, physicist Hal Puthoff, led strange studies into consciousness at the Stanford Research Institute from 1972 to 1985. At the same institution where psychedelic MKULTRA experiments were conducted years prior — technological and cultural revolutions incubated.
By names such as Project Stargate or Sun Streak and for over a decade, millions of taxpayer dollars went into CIA-sponsored research into supernatural and psychic abilities. An article on the CIA’s website currently explains Project Stargate:
“That report’s conclusion — which echoed the assessments of the CIA officers involved in the program during the 1970s — was that enough accurate remote viewing experiences existed to defy randomness, but that the phenomenon was too unreliable, inconsistent, and sporadic to be useful for intelligence purposes.”
